SENIOR RETAIL DESIGNER/RETAIL DESIGNER

Job Description

We are seeking a Retail Designer/ Senior Retail Designer as part of the team expansion. The successful candidate will support the team in terms of design, generation and consistent application of the various Retail Concept platforms across different territories. As OSIM is a renowned brand and marketing company, the candidate should have a strong interest in brand building, retail customer experience and an appreciation of retail marketing.

Job Responsibilities

Facilitate and iterate the established Retail Concept Design platform to all territories through implementing effective store layouts, visual merchandising concepts and store presentation.
Work closely with assigned territories to ensure consistent depiction and application of the Retail Concept Design platform that is aligned to the company's brand values, personality and HQ concept Guidelines.
Continuously improve and enhance the Retail Experience through user feedback, observation and research.
Take a lead role in conceptualizing, developing designs and execution of new ideas for the Retail Concept, i.e. Product launches, Roadshows & Pop-Up Events, 3D related Visual Merchandising, In-store & product display concepts.
The candidate will also demonstrate an ability to generate design studies, design iteration, review own proposal and developing strong creative solutions to meet visual merchandising and/or retail objectives.
Work experience will also entail making judgment calls when work is not going in the right direction; ability to critique own work; accept feedback from team members & stakeholders, and redirect own work with limited supervision.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Exhibition Design or Architecture with 3-6 years of experience.
Good understanding of design development process: concept development, design development, costing, timeline and resources needed to effectively deliver results.
Proficient in 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, AutoCad will be a plus.
Highly motivated, idea driven, open-minded, and eager to find new and creative ways (on top of given direction) to improve established processes, standards and guidelines.
Strong multi-tasking and problem solving skills, able to function independently and as part of the team and be able to mentor and motivate peers and team members.
Effectively bilingual with good verbal and written communication skills will be a bonus.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects.
Self-motivated individual with positive attitude, attention to detail and consistency of quality work.
